Transmed S.p.A. Second Offer for Primary Capacity from October 1st, 2019 to October 1st, 2029

As announced on July 19th, 2019, TRANSMED S.p.A. (“TRANSMED”) informs that on September 5th, 2019 it will hold a second public offer for firm transportation capacity on the offshore pipeline system across the Sicily Straits, from the Cap Bon Delivery Point to the Mazara del Vallo Redelivery Point, that resulted uncommitted after TRANSMED offer held on July 23rd, 2019 (“TRANSMED First Offer”), starting from Oct. 1st, 2019 and for a maximum duration of 10 (ten) years in integer multiples of the minimum duration of 1 (one) contractual year (“TRANSMED Second Offer ”).

TRANSMED is the Company in charge to market the transportation capacity leased by Transmediterranean Pipeline Company Ltd (“TMPC”) and relating to TMPC-owned gas pipelines that connect the Cap Bon Compression Station, in Tunisia, to Mazara del Vallo, in Italy.

Interested Parties will find on the TRANSMED website the relevant documents, among which in particular:

• the Key Contractual Terms of the Gas Transportation Agreement between TRANSMED and Shipper;
• Registration and declaration forms.

Interested Parties willing to participate in the TRANSMED Second Offer are kindly invited to submit the requested documentation available at www.transmed-spa.it in compliance with TRANSMED requirements no later than August 28th 2019. Shippers previously duly validated during TRANSMED First Offer will not be required to re-apply (but please be aware that Powers of Attorney expiring before September 5th, 2019 will have to be re-submitted), as they are already considered to be approved for “TRANSMED Second Offer ”.

Please note that in order to ensure a coordinated and linked assignment of capacity on the entire transportation system, TRANSMED has reached an understanding with Trans Tunisian Pipeline Company S.p.A. (“TTPC”), whereby an assignee of capacity pursuant to the TTPC Second Offer shall be entitled to execute a Gas Transportation Agreement with TRANSMED for the same capacity and for the same duration, assigned by TTPC (TTPC).

Please also be informed that the above mentioned available transportation capacity does not include the corresponding capacity at the entry Point in Mazara del Vallo on the Snam Rete Gas network system.
